ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Our History

Incarnate Word Academy was founded in 2004, by our visionaire and Mother Deaconness Osiri Nina.The school since then has metamorphised from little beginnings.It started out as only a Nursery School.Today,there are four sections which are Nursery Section, Primary Section, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Section. As a school dedicated to standards,we employ qualified teachers.Our student. Our student growth has been consistent and we are enlarging outr tent for Mother. In lieu of this, Incarnate Word Academy have been progreesing in building projects since 2016. We are Government Approved and and we are recognized for PSLAT, BECE, WASce examinations.

School Rules And Regulations
  • Morning Assembly starts by 7:30 am and it's compulsory for all students.
  • Latenes to school, class, or morning assmebly is an offfence
  • Loitering in the school premises during class periods is highly prohibited
  • Students must obey their teachers respectively
  • Eating in class during lessons period is highly prohibited
  • Noise making and causing distractions during lesson period is an offence
  • Students are expected to have a note book, a classwork book and a home-work book for each subject
  • Cheating and exam-malpractice is a serious offence
  • All praticals and experiments must be done in the school laboratory
  • Using of vulgar words/expressions is an offence
  • Students must ensure that there notes are up to date to avoid being punished
  • Failure to do your take-home assignment and classworks attracts punishment to defaulters
  • Textbooks is compulsory for all students
  • Students must dress neatly with their school uniforms and according to the school accepted dressing code
